Certification OCPP 2.0.1
To promote OCPP interoperability the Open Charge Alliance offers a certification program. An OCPP Certificate is your assurance of interoperability and flexibility. The main purpose of this certification is to validate OCPP compliance for both vendors as well as buyers of OCPP implementations.
Vendors of OCPP products can confidently assure their customers of seamless compatibility with other OCPP-compliant systems, covering specific functionalities. For buyers, this certificate is a guarantee for a smooth integration a way to avoid future vendor lock-ins.
WHAT IS THE OCPP 2.0.1 CERTIFICATION PROGRAM?
The certification program is a joint effort of the Open Charge Alliance and several independent test laboratories around the world to test OCPP 2.0.1 on conformance to the OCPP specification.
HOW DOES IT BENEFIT VENDORS OR BUYERS?
Vendors of compliant systems can now ensure to their clients that the implementation has been validated on conformance to the OCPP specifications by an approved independent test laboratory. Buyers of OCPP 2.0.1 compliant products can check which products are certified and are successfully tested for conformance to OCPP.
WHAT DIFFERENT CERTIFICATES WILL BE AVAILABLE?
For OCPP 2.0.1 Certification, the Core profile is mandatory, the other certification profiles are options. Not all certification profiles are yet available for certification. In the third column of the table below you will find which ones are ready for certification and an expected data of the ones that are not yet available.

As of 2023 when multiple certificates acquired in the 12 months after the certification date of the first certificate, a discount on the certification fee will be applied for OCA members.
These are the maximum certification testing fees for one full test run that Certification Labs will charge. This excludes pretesting and/or retesting sessions. Please contact the testing lab of your choice for an offer.
