It is now possible to download a new edition of the Open Charge Point Protocol 2.0.1 (OCPP 2.0.1) specification. This new edition of OCPP 2.0.1 has some added clarifications on use cases. All Errata are now integrated in the specification. Furthermore, in the files that are available for download redundant files have been archived.
The new edition was requested by the OCPP community to ease implementing 2.0.1 using extra explanations. It can be used by expert OCPP 2.0.1 implementers as well as new users.
The OCPP 2.0.1 specifications in this form does not affect any schemas of OCPP messages. Certain errata do contain changes to requirements or even new requirements, but only in cases where a requirement contains an obvious error and would not or could not be implemented literally. New requirements were only added when they were already implicitly there.
The repacked specifications can be found as a zip-file in the download section for OCPP 2.0.1 on this website. It is possible to download the entire new set of files for OCPP 2.0.1. If you only want to download the new edition, you can choose ‘OCPP-2.0.1 (part 2 edition 2 only)’. You can select your preference in the pull-down menu.

OCPP-2.0.1 (part 2 edition 2 only)
This zip-file only contains the newly released OCPP 2.0.1 part 2 edition 2 document (This file is also available in the ‘All Files’ zip-file). The errata from “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_errata_v2_0” have been incorporated into this document. The “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_errata_v2_0” document can be download separately at the `OCPP 2.0.1 (part 2 edition 1 + errata)` download link.
OCPP-2.0.1 (part 2 appendices v1.3)
This zip-file contains the latest version of `OCPP-2.0.1_part2_appendices`, plus the machine-readable CSV format of the appendices. The appendices of the OCPP 2.0.1 part 2 can be updated without requiring a new OCPP release. This mainly concerns the components and variables of the OCPP device model, which can be extended with new components or variables, as long as they are optional. (These files are also available in the ‘All Files’ zip-file)
OCPP-2.0.1 (part 2 edition 1 & errata)
This zip-file contains the “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_errata_v2_0”, together with “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_specification” (edition 1). “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_errata_v2_0” can be used to identify the changes between “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_specification” (edition 1) and “OCPP-2.0.1_part2_specification_edition2”.
